Lobbyists are everywhere: NGOs on the offensive, industry on the defensive. Glyphosate, GMOs, pesticides, Green Deal… it feels like we’re in a novel or in a film.

A privileged observer and often a leading actor on the EU stage, Daniel Guéguen exposes the reality of a Europe whose political vision has been drowned amidst a dominant, sterile and authoritarian bureaucracy.

We need to act now! If things remain as they are, violent confrontation is inevitable since the conditions for fruitful dialogue between institutions, economic sectors and civil society are absent.
