NEW ISTANBUL Turkish for Foreign Coursebook Package was requested by the Ministry of Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning in 2016, and evaluated by the commission in the Ministry of Education General Directorate of Lifelong Learning, and made corrections and additions by the commission. After all these procedures, NEW ISTANBUL Turkish for Foreign Coursebook Package was purchased by UNHCR for 320,000 copies, and  applied to the ages of 15 years and over Syrians in the Public Education Centers in 2017. In addition, NEW ISTANBUL Turkish for Foreign Coursebook Package is used by more than 20 universities in abroad (Harvard, Michigan, Athens etc.) and more than 30 universities in Turkey (Marmara, Milli Savunma, Istanbul University, Selçuk University, Akdeniz University etc.).

NEW ISTANBUL Turkish for Foreign Coursebook Package is the first CEFR based Turkish language coursebook series prepared according to international standards.

Each book in this Coursebook Package is consists of 6 units organized according to the theme in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Each unit is divided into three subtopics, and targeted skills, grammar topics and vocabularies is given at the beginning of each unit. Each section in the units contains Preparatory Studies, Reading, Grammar, Listening, Speaking and Writing. At the end of each unit, there are Cultural to Culture, Classroom Language, Relaxing / Amusing Learning, Quiz, Self-assessment and Writing List sections. Each units includes both classroom classics that all Turkish language teachers come to know and love, and new activities at a range of levels from A1 to C1.
